SYNOPSIS

Andreia Beltrão plays the role of Verônica, a public school teacher who, like many in her profession, earns little, dreams of winning the lottery, faces a classroom full of noisy children and, despite everything, tries to do the best you can in your work. She lives alone in a cramped room, has a sick mother and faces a separation process. An easy life, but very predictable, until one day a simple favor that she does to a co-worker will change her routine forever. She didn’t think that leaving one of her students at his house would cause such a stir. From that day on, she would have to hide from drug dealers to save the little boy who will be suddenly orphaned and had nowhere to go.

        The film features scenes of great tension as when Veronica runs with the boy to try to hide from the bandits. It also brings moments of great tenderness, such as when she decides to adopt the boy. The involvement of police officers in drug trafficking is the reality portrayed in the film, which was also concerned with showing that police officers are still free from corruption. The film, as a whole, is pleasant to see, not only because of the rush of Veronica under shots of gunfire, but also because of the profile of a woman in print, courageous, warrior, full of character and the touching change in the hearts of the characters (Verônica and her student), who build a solid relationship of affection in the midst of the drama they experience.
