2. Some e Any muitas vezes são empregados sem que, a rigor, haja necessidade. Nesses casos, o português pode traduzir some e any por algum, alguma, um pouco de, uns, umas, nenhum, nenhuma, ou, preferivelmente, não traduzir. Mas vale lembrar que apesar de no português muitas vezes o indefinido seja dispensado, na língua inglesa esses quantificadores são essenciais para pleno entendimento da língua.
